February NTSBC Meeting

We will meet at Peggy's house on Wednesday, February 16 at 12:30 to discuss Remarkable Creatures. The photo above is of Mary Anning's "crocodile" ~ actually the Ichthyosaurus. It's hard to see, but there is a portrait of Mary below the head. It resides in London's Natural History Museum. Can you imagine finding this?

One little trivia about Mary Anning is that she was the inspiration for the tongue twister "She sells seashells on the seashore"!
